Microblading FAQs

What is microblading?

-Microblading is a manual hand method of semi-permanent cosmetics for your eyebrows that creates extremely natural looking hair strokes resulting in low maintenance, natural looking and full brows.

How long does microblading last?

-Depending on individual skin type and care, the pigment will fade slowly over 12-24 months. A colour refresher is usually recommended between 12-18 months.

Will the procedure hurt?

-A topical anesthetic is applied to keep any discomfort to a minimum and completely tolerable even for those who are very sensitive.

How long will the procedure take?

-The initial appointment will take approximately 2 hours.

Is the touch-up appointment necessary?

-Yes. Approximately 10-15% of drawn hair stokes disappear after the first appointment and healing period. The perfection appointment reinforces your new brows to be able to last as long as possible.

How long does healing take?

-The initial 7-10 days after treatment is the most important in terms of aftercare. A true reflection of your healed colour can only be assessed 3-4 weeks after treatment. Your eyebrows will go through several phases while healing and will go from too dark, to too light, to just right.

Are there any pre-existing conditions that would interfere with having Microblading done?
